Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

Pray frequently during the day. May be prayed on behalf of others.

What Christ Asks Us to Believe

About His Real Presence

John 6: 22-71. No matter how often we have heard this Bread of Life gospel, we would be enriched and sanctified by a frequent prayerful reading and pondering of it.

Servant of God, Rev. John Anthony Hardon, SJ (1904 – 2000), says, “The simplest way to express what Christ asks us to believe about the Real Presence is that the Eucharist is really He. The Real Presence is the real Jesus.

“…the Eucharist began in the womb of the Virgin Mary…the flesh which the Son of God received from His Mother at the Incarnation is the same flesh into which He changed bread at the Last Supper…The blood He received from His Mother is the same blood into which He changed wine at the last supper. Had she not given Him His flesh and blood there could not be a Eucharist.”

Let us ask Mary, Mother of the Eucharist,

to deepen our awareness of the infinite graces of the Real Presence, Jesus, the Blessed Sacrament.

Daily Eucharistic Miracles

Throughout the history of the Church there have been extraordinary Eucharistic miracles authenticated in many countries. Such miracles have provided a visible sign of the Real Presence of Jesus, which is otherwise seen only with the eyes of faith. These wondrous events can give us deeper under-standing. However, the most important and astounding miracle is the one that takes place whenever the Eucharist is celebrated. Jesus’ Body and Blood become our nourishment on our journey to our eternal home.

Special Guests in April

Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted

Fr. Peter Carota

Fr. David Kemna, FSSP

Fr. Paul Sullivan

New Rosaries are being aired.

Your Invitation to Record New Rosaries

Our goal is for every parish, organization, Cath-olic school and prayer group to participate on the Rosary Program by recording the Rosary. For info on participation, email radiofamilyrosaryphx@gmail.com

Daily Intentions for Our Church

Along with our loving concerns about family and friends, let us remember to pray every day for these three intentions for our Catholic Church.

  1. The safety and success of Pope Francis’ visit

to U.S. in September. An outpouring of prayer

should precede an event of this magnitude.

  1. Fruitfulness of this present Year of Consecrated

Life – for priests and religious. (And for all com-

mitted to whatever paths God has called them).

  1. The extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy to

begin December 8, 2015.

Blessed by Another Successful Dinner
The Annual Radio Family Rosary Dinner was a tremendous success due to the assistance of so

many people. We were honored to have Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted as our special guest.

Fr. Andrew Kemberling, our guest speaker from the Archdiocese of Denver, pointed out that God calls us to be free, creative, responsible and loving citizens and stewards for our own actions.

He said that our religious freedom was first preached in the pulpits of our country before it was proclaimed in our Declaration of Independence. True religion leads to morality and virtue, and virtue leads to honest and true government. We cannot have a free democracy without religious freedom.

We thank the AZ East Valley Prolife Alliance

for arranging Father Kemberling’s visit.

See insert for Dinner acknowledgements

“When you look at the crucifix, you understand how much Jesus loved you then. When you look at the Sacred Host, you understand how much Jesus loves you now.”

Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Please Consider Easter Offering

We invite you to give an Easter Offering to RFR. Your generosity is most appreciated and needed. It is a means of evangelizing the Easter Message.

Come Holy Spirit!

The Supreme Court of the U.S. is

hearing arguments that could result in

decisions that would undermine religious liberty in the United States. Let’s call on the Holy Spirit to enlighten the Supreme Court Justices.

St. Padre Pio said,

“Worry is useless, what is needed is prayer.”

Fr. Basil Cole, OP, said on our Program

that it only takes some people to be committed

to prayer to change the course of history.

Let us be among those people.

ABC’s of Divine Mercy – A Summary:

+ Ask for God’s Mercy

+ Be merciful like Our Father

+ Completely trust in Jesus

The Divine Mercy revelations by Jesus to St. Faustina make a twofold request:

  1. Trust. Complete confidence in Jesus.
  2. Deeds of mercy – the daily practice of mercy

toward one’s neighbor.

Responding to the Divine Mercy Message

+ Say often, “Jesus, I trust in you.”

+ Show mercy by daily prayer, penance, words

and deeds.

+ Pause at 3 p.m. to remember Jesus’ passion.

+ Receive Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist often. + Make visits to the Blessed Sacrament.

+ Pray Chaplet of Divine Mercy daily.
